faith’s garden :: where beauty grows into hope

In honor of my sweet baby girl in heaven I’ve decided to start Faith’s Garden: a virtual fine art gallery where I will display and sell the stuff I shoot just for fun when I’m feeling inspired.

50% of the profits from all fine art sales will go an organization that is near and dear to my heart: Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep. NILMDTS is an organization of volunteers who do bereavement photography for families who have lost a child.  They send a photographer to the hospital to capture beautiful images of babies who have passed away.  I wish we would have had something like this when we had Faith in 2005.  I hope to spread the word about them so that no family, should they ever lose a child, misses the opportunity to have that moment captured.

Reflection – $295

“Reflection” is an image of a beautiful and delicate white lotus reflecting in the slightly rippled water of the pond in which it sits.

Dimensions & details: 10×15 lustre print professionally framed and matted in a 16×20 cherry frame.

Rusty Bumper (below) - $295

“Rusty Bumper” gives a worm’s eye view of an airstream trailer bumper and tail light.

Dimensions & details: 20×30 metal print. Image is printed directly on aluminum with a sheer finish, allowing the surface of the metal to show through giving the image a translucent luminescence.  A float mount block attached to the back makes the image appear as if it’s floating about an inch away from the wall.
